Shrimp Chow Fun


๐—œ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€:

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 tsp Dark Soy sauce

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 tsp Light Soy sauce

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 Tbsp Light Soy sauce

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

๐Ÿ’ซ 2 Tbsp Water

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 tsp Sesame Oil

๐Ÿ’ซ 1โ„2 tsp Chili Oil (optional)

๐Ÿ’ซ 1โ„4 tsp Sugar

๐Ÿ’ซ 1โ„8 tsp White pepper

๐Ÿ’ซ 1โ„2 lb large Shrimp (peeled & deveined)

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 Red Jalapeรฑos (seeded & julienned)

๐Ÿ’ซ 1 cup Bean Sprouts

๐Ÿ’ซ 5 Garlic cloves (minced or pressed)

๐Ÿ’ซ 5 Shiitake Mushrooms (sliced)

๐Ÿ’ซ 10 oz Hu Tieu/Chow Fun noodles (precooked)

๐Ÿ’ซ 4 Green Onion (2 inch pieces & cut in half lengthwise)

๐Ÿ’ซ Sesame seeds


๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€:

1. Prep your Vegetables and Shrimp.


2. In a bowl, add Shrimp with 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar, 1 tsp Light Soy sauce, 1โ„8 tsp White pepper. Mix well.


3. In another bowl, mix together 1 tsp Dark Soy sauce, 1 Tbsp Light Soy sauce, 1โ„4 tsp Sugar, 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar, and 2 Tbsp Water. Add 1โ„2 tsp Chili Oil if you want a kick.


4. Heat a wok over high heat: add 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil and Shrimp. Cook 1-2 minutes each side or until 3โ„4 way cooked. Remove from wok and set aside.


5. In same wok, add 2 Tbsp vegetable oil. Add in Garlic and Red chili. Stir fry for 30 secs-1 minute, until fragrant. Add Mushrooms and cook for 1 minutes or until Mushrooms are soften. Add more oil if needed.


6. Add noodles and pour in the sauce. Stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes, until noodles are soften and soaked in the sauce. Then add Green Onion, Bean Sprouts and Shrimp, toss everything together and stir fry for 30 secs-1 min.


7. Remove from heat. Drizzle in 1 tsp Sesame Oil. Garnish with Sesame Seeds!
