Fried Chicken


๐—œ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€:

๐Ÿ”ธ 3 lbs Chicken

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 cup Corn Starch

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 cup All-purpose Flour

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 tsp Five Spice Powder

๐Ÿ”ธ 1/2 tsp Salt + more

๐Ÿ”ธ Black Pepper

๐Ÿ”ธ Canola or Vegetable Oil


๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€:

1. Season Chicken with Salt and Pepper on both sides.


2. In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup All-purpose Flour, 1 cup Corn Starch, 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Five Spice Powder, and 1/2 tsp Salt. Mix together.


3. Coat the Chicken in the flour mixture. Shake off the excess. Heat the oil to 350ยฐ F. Fry the Chicken in batches until itโ€™s golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Transfer the Chicken to a cooking rack. Repeat steps for the remaining Chicken.
