Korean-Inspired Ground Beef Bulgogi Bowl


๐—œ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€:

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 lb Ground Beef

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 small White Onion (sliced)

๐Ÿ”ธ 3 Tbsp Garlic (minced)

๐Ÿ”ธ 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

๐Ÿ”ธ 2 Tbsp Mirin

๐Ÿ”ธ 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 Tbsp Korean Plum Extract

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 tsp Sesame Oil

๐Ÿ”ธ Green Onion (chopped)

๐Ÿ”ธ Black Pepper

๐Ÿ”ธ Sesame Seeds


๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€:

1. In a small bowl, add 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar, 2 Tbsp Mirin, 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce, and 1 Tbsp Korean Plum Extract. Give it a mix and set it aside.


2. In a pan on high heat, add 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil and cook the sliced onion for 1 minute. Add in the minced Garlic and sautรฉ for another minute.


3. Add in the Ground Beef, break it down into smaller pieces. Pour in the sauce mixture and incorporate until well combined. Continue to cook the meat until the liquid has evaporated, stirring occasionally.


4. Once you see no more sauce, drizzle in 1 tsp Sesame Oil and give it a final mix. Garnish with chopped Green Onion, Black Pepper, and Sesame Seeds. Enjoy!
