Bo Luc Lac / Vietnamese Shaking Beef


๐—œ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€:

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 lb Beef

๐Ÿ”ธ 2 Bell Peppers (any color)

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 small Yellow Onion

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 Tbsp Butter

๐Ÿ”ธ 2 Tbsp Vegetable oil

๐Ÿ”ธ 2 Tbsp Oyster oil

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 tsp Sugar

๐Ÿ”ธ 3 tsp minced Garlic

๐Ÿ”ธ 1 tsp Black Pepper


๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€:

1.) Cut the Beef, Bell peppers, and Onion into bite sized pieces. Set vegetables aside.


2.) In a bowl, add Beef, 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil, 2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce, 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce, 1 tsp Sugar, 3 tsp minced Garlic, and 1 tsp Black Pepper. Mix and let it marinate for 30 minutes.


3.) In a wok, add 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil and marinated Beef. Add an even layer of beef in your wok and allow it to sear for 2 mins before โ€œshakingโ€ to sear and brown all sides for another 1-2 minutes each side. Remove from heat.


4.) In the same wok, add the vegetables and 1 Tbsp Butter. Cook until soften. Add beef back in and give a final toss!
